1. Angels' BloodEdit

Elena recalled how she refused to sell herself in marriage in order to expand the sprawling Deveraux empire. [3] Jeffrey called her to his private office housed in a brownstone. He let her know that he expected her to use whatever influence she had with Raphael for the betterment of the family. He pretty much called her a whore and she walked out.[1] He calls her to come get rid of a body.[4] The body was that of his long time mistress found dead, her chest was cracked open, flaps of skin hanging off her rib cage. She looked a lot like Elena's mother Marguerite Deveraux. Elena realizes that Uram is starting to hunt her and those inner life.[2] Venom leaned up the sites at Jeffrey's office, and the Museum.[5]

2. Archangel's KissEdit

Dmitri brought an envelope to Elena from Jeffrey, only it was really from the lawyers of Deveraux Enterprises wanting her to take over responsibility for the safe-deposit box with her mother's things in it. The letter triggers memories and flashbacks of her mother and sisters.[6]
